W11: Modeling Relationships II
This is the module for Week 11. We will learn how to conceptualize different statistical procedures for different kinds of data within the same general framework of a linear model
Goals
- Discuss how to fit models with categorical/nominal predictors
- Re-introduce ANOVAs and its variations
Prep

Before Wednesday
- Review W10 slides on F-test and t-test!
- [optional] Read Chapter 12 from the Gravetter & Wallnau (2017) textbook.
Before Friday
- Watch Hypothesis Testing (two-groups: F-test) [12 min]
- Watch Hypothesis Testing (one-way ANOVA: F-test) [18 min]
- Review the compiled slide deck for ALL hypothesis tests so far!
After Friday
- Work on Problem Set 6!
- Complete all practice assessments, review the material, and bring questions to class!
